MY ROOTS
I was born and raised just outside Rupert, in Western Quebec.
Rupert is a small community with many farmers. My Grandfather was a farmer and I would love going to help him every summer with the hay.
I spent a lot of my upbringing outside - I love being outdoors, especially on the water.
I grew up riding dirt bikes, playing hockey and being a part of the 4-H Club, showing steers at the Shawville Fair.
Hard work was engraved into me a at a very young age, having being brought up by two very hardworking parents; my mom a Registered Nurse who spent her career working in various hospitals in Ottawa, and my dad, an Accountant who worked for Health Canada for most of his career.
MY APPROACH
My Grandfather has been doing woodworking for many years and I would help him out at the local Christmas Craft Sale in Wakefield Quebec.
I didn’t start woodworking myself until 2016, when I made my first cutting board.
Since then, I have fallen in love with designing products with my hands.
My approach is simple, it’s about the wood.
I love using different species of woods to design various patterns for cutting boards and serving boards. I spenD hours making sure that my boards are sanded to perfection and that every attention to detail is looked after. I take pride in my work and am always happy to custom make any design that you want.
